Leylee Morris, LPC
(She/Ella)
I’ve always been curious about people, the things we pick up from family and culture, the contradictions we carry, the ways we change, and all the different ways we try to make sense of ourselves.
That curiosity is a big part of what brought me to this work, and more than a decade later, it’s still one of my favorite parts of being a therapist.
Over the years, it’s also taken me beyond what I first learned in traditional psychotherapy. I’ve explored mindfulness, the nervous system, body-based practices, spirituality, and different ways people understand themselves and create meaning in their lives.
The more I learn, the less convinced I am that there’s one “right” way to do therapy or to be a person.
Sometimes talking helps. Sometimes understanding the why changes everything. And sometimes you understand the why and think, okay…but I’m still doing the thing.
People are layered like that. I kind of love that about us.
What matters to me is that therapy leaves room for that complexity. Not so you can become some perfectly regulated, completely self-aware version of yourself, but so you can know yourself a little better, trust yourself a little more, and have more choice in what you do with what you discover.
You get to decide what matters here. I’ll bring my curiosity, training, questions, and willingness to be in the messy middle with you.

My Approach
My style is warm, collaborative, and direct.
There’s room for humor here, but I also won’t shy away from the things that are harder to look at.
I’m not a sit-back-and-nod therapist. I’ll ask questions, share what I’m noticing, and get curious with you when something keeps showing up or when what you know and what you feel don’t quite match.
We might stay with something a little longer, look at what’s underneath a reaction, or make room for the different parts of you that don’t necessarily agree with each other.
And not every session has to be a deep dive. Sometimes we’re exploring something you’ve carried for years. Sometimes we’re figuring out how you want to handle the thing happening on Tuesday.
You bring your life. I’ll bring my training, curiosity, and attention. We’ll figure out where to go from there.
